GCS have been awarded a tender to manufacture the wings for the Denel designed and developed Unmanned Air Vehicle (UAV) Seeker II.

GCS are geared up to start the production run on the wings which requires 14 completed sets been finished by the end of 2009.

The Seeker II is based on a low drag airframe with a large fuel capacity and efficient engine that can provide an endurance of up to 16 hours. the aircraft also has a service ceiling of 18 000 ft and a payload capacity of up to 40kg.

The UAV is controlled from the mobile tracking and communication unit and has an operating range of 250km.
